Important Notes in Submission of Documents
  1. Application will only be processed as soon as the required documents are completed and the application fee has been paid.
  2. Make sure to keep copies of all documents. Any and all submitted documents become the property of Silla University and will not be returned to the applicants. The application fee is also non-refundable.
  3. Certificate of graduation or diploma must be provided by applicants who are expecting to graduate to graduate prior to admission to the Silla University.
  4. All documents should be in English or Korean. Documents in other languages should be accompanied by a notarized English or Korean translation.
  5. Additional documents may be requested when needed for examination of the applicant’s eligibility.
  6. Applicants are responsible to ensure that valid contact information is provided for communication throughout the admissions process.
  7. Any false information on admission forms and supporting documents, or the use of any other illicit means to be admitted on false grounds will nullify the admission and enrollment.

 

 
  1. Applicants must submit applications and required documents for admission to the university.
  2. Document Screening
  3. Successful applicant will be notified of the evaluation results. The applicant has to deposit the amount of tuition fee to the designated bank account.
  4. After tuition fee deposit has been confirmed, a certificate of admission will be sent to the applicant.
  5. Applicants should apply for a student visa in Korea embassy or consulate in the applicant’s home country.
  6. After obtaining a student visa, the applicant must enter Korea on the designated date by Silla University.

Admission Guide (Undergraduate | Post-graduate | Korean Studies)

 

Admission Qualifications:
  1. Applicant should be in possession of a high school or higher education diploma.
    (Master’s and Doctorate Degree candidates should be in possession of a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree diplomas, respectively.)
  2. Undergraduate applicants must have acquired Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Level 3 or higher.
    *For International School of Korean Studies, applicants must have acquired the corresponding test scores in any of these Nationally-recognized English Proficiency Tests: TOEFL 550, CBT 210, IBT 80, IELTS 5.5 and TEPS 550.
    (This is not required if applicant is a native English-speaker.)
    *Incoming university students must acquire TOPIK Level 4 upon graduation.
    (International School of Korean Studies applicants need not to acquire TOPIK Level 4)
  3. Post-graduate applicants must have acquired TOPIK Level 3 or higher or must be a holder of any English proficiency certificate.
  4. From among the 3 eligibility qualifications written below, at least one should be satisfied.
